What is Gravatar?
“Your Gravatar is an image that follows you from site to site appearing beside your name when you do things like comment or post on a blog. Avatars help identify your posts on blogs and web forums, so why not on any site?”

Your account on 120 Stars, or any WordPress website, will automatically be linked to your new Gravatar profile. Your Gravatar profile will give you a new avatar, which you can upload from your computer hard-drive, a URL from the internet, or an image from a webcam. Gravatar uses a movie-like rating for its avatars: G (Suitable for all audiences), PG (Possibly offensive, usually for audiences 13 and above), R (Intended for adult audiences above 17), and X (Even more mature than above). The maximum rating on 120 Stars is R, and anything over is blocked. When you upload your image, it may take some time for the image to show up, but you will now have a new avatar on 120 Stars!

To post comments on 120 Stars – you will not need to have an account on the website. However, you will require a WordPress account. When you create your WordPress account, you will have the ability to comment on any WordPress blog, and even create your own website. Using your WordPress email with Gravatar, you will be able to use an avatar with your account.
